Single Room In Homely House Share

Hello!

We have lovely large single complete with a new queen size bed, bedside drawer, wardrobe, shelves and a small desk. Available from the 16th September

Living in the house is Angus, Chris and Tom. Here is a little bit about them :-)

Angus is 28, he's studying Law after a career change from being a Chef. He loves cricket and is very easy going, sociable and loves to hang out with friends and cook for the house. Tom is 34, studying his PGC to become a Teacher. He's taught English around the world and grew up in South Africa but has lived here for many years. Chris (29) works at a Greengrocer and studied Environmental conservation. The guys get on really well and like to find things to do, like exploring the city and going for cycle rides and baking! (they make a mean lemon drizzle cake). They also enjoy popping to the local pub for a few drinks or having a good old cup of coffee/glass of wine and chinwag on the veranda (or stoep as Tom calls it!).

This is a very easy-going house and would like to find someone who is friendly, respectful, clean & tidy and is happy to pitch in with housework to continue to make their house a home. It's vital that you chip in with your fair share of house duties and cleaning, lazy people need not apply!

Here's a little about the house:

There's fast (60mb) wireless fibre-optic broadband
Gas central heating throughout
The house has all new double-glazed doors and windows
The bathroom has a shower .

The kitchen is complete with: Dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezers, fan oven and gas hob and all the kitchen furnishings and utensils you need. Also off the kitchen is a roofed veranda with table and chairs.

We have a resident cat at the house too called Blue, he's very friendly but also independent and spends a mixture of time outside or napping. If you don't like cats then unfortunately this isn't the house for you as Blue is like another housemate.

The lounge has a few sofas, a coffee table, a TV and french doors going out onto the veranda. .

In the garden there's a brick BBQ, a veg patch and a veranda off the kitchen which contains a table and chairs.

Storage is not a problem with the secure basement for storing bikes and excess stuff. There's loads of room!

The City Centre, Temple Meads and many other parts of Bristol are easily accessible with bus stops conveniently right outside the house. Plus in the next burbs of Montpellier & St. Werburghs there's an amazing organic food supermarket and newsagents, post office, and several fun pubs. Also, Just over the road is a number of fields and woods, a lake and a park which makes for really nice walks and bike rides.
The house is just off the Muller Road and M32, it's close to Cabot Circus shopping centre & Eastgate Retail Park, which has:

24hr Tesco superstore (plus petrol), IKEA, Boots, Halfords, a 'What!', Pets at Home, KFC, Burger King, Asda Living and Marks & Spencers.

Your rent would include all bills & internet bar Gas and Electricity.

Jade (myself, 34) and Chris (39) are a couple and the owners of the house. We have just moved into the new build in the garden of the property. We’re very easy going people and love socialising with all the housemates. Being next door also means we are just a short walk away if there are any problems :-). We also own another house next door where 2 boys and 2 girl lives so we regularly organise house meals, film or game nights and BBQ's in the summer for all three houses. We have also created a shared garden space for the three houses to hang out in.

We have found that if you have lived at Dormer you are a friend for life and often have past tenants revisiting frequently to see everyone

Sorry to end on a slightly negative note but unfortunately we won't accept any of the following:

- Anyone who isn't between the age of 25-35.

- We're fine with smokers, but we just ask you to smoke outside or on the roofed veranda.

- PARKING - I'm afraid we CAN'T accept cars as we only have limited space along the road and we want to be respectful to our neighbour's.

- COUPLES - This is unfortunately single occupancy rooms
