The room is an L-shaped ground floor annexe with off-street parking attached to a large detached house situated in one of Bristol's nicest residential areas with The Downs on the doorstep.

Southmead Hospital, Bristol University, The BBC, GKN Aerospace, Rolls Royce & BRI are all easily accessible. There is a bus stop within a few feet of the house with a 20-minute service into the city centre via Blackboy Hill, Queens Road & Park Street. Small restaurants, pubs, take-aways & supermarkets are within walking distance. Clifton village - with its iconic suspension bridge - is a short drive away,

The Granny Flat has an en-suite shower & loo and is available on a Monday-Friday basis only; it's perfect for a professional person or contractor who has to work away from home during the week and just wants to 'flop' at the end of a busy day, without having to make small talk with a landlady or flatmates! There's a king size bed, sofa, armchair, table, small wardrobe, chest of drawers & Smart TV plus high speed WiFi internet. There is no kitchen, but a kettle, toaster, fridge & microwave are provided. We think that the peace & privacy the accommodation provides makes up for the lack of cooking facilities. We are a retired couple always available in the main house if you need anything; otherwise, you'll never see us. The room is completely self-contained so you'll have your own door & key - the only shared entrance is the house's main front door. The monthly rate includes all bills, bed linen, towels & a weekly clean. Rent is payable monthly in advance, negating the need for a deposit.
