Room available in large detached house

Double room with own private bathroom in a fantastic detached 5 bedroom house in Farnham Royal. Private secure parking (inside a walled garden and security shutter), TV and wifi included. The room is for one person only and Monday to Friday only. It would suit a professional person who works locally during the week and would normally stay in a hotel.

We are surrounded by fields, and are offering a very private, quiet, beautifully furnished double bedroom, oak king size bed (quality mattress) and large screen TV. There is plenty of storage in the wardrobe, large chest of drawers and beautiful oak bedside cabinet. There is a large desk and leather office chair for working in the evenings. It has it's own landing space (up a private flight of stairs).

The price includes TV and wifi access. The kitchen is shared (but everyone keeps very different hours). The price includes all bills and cleaning/fresh linen once a week - you only have to buy your own food etc. (I provide fridge and larder space). It is a lovely relaxing environment. Previous lodgers have called it a 'sanctuary' from a busy work life. It would NOT suit someone who wants to socialise with housemates as we all rarely see each other.

We have a large modern kitchen - refitted 3 years ago - with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc. The house is within its own private one acre walled garden with secure off-street parking (within the wall). I am not looking for a 'house mate' although I am friendly and happy to share an occasional cup of tea!

We are looking for someone independent, clean, quiet, friendly and considerate. It is very much 'room only'. As I work from home (as a sports physio) I have clients in and out all day and need privacy. It is therefore NOT suitable for someone who regularly works from home.

We suggest you have your own transport as there is only an intermittent bus service 10 minutes walk away. We are only 2 miles from Slough trading estate but in the heart of the countryside. In Farnham Common (less than one mile away) there is a range of restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Italian (including take-away pizza), Thai and a fish and chip shop). There are also dry-cleaners and Tescos and Sainsbury's locals. There is a gastro-pub just 300m away 'The Crown' which also does breakfast!
