Female home sharer/carer/companion - low rent

Mature, friendly, reliable and trustworthy female required to share home with 85 year old lady with vascular dementia (plus small dog and cat) and provide low-level care and companionship for about 15 to 20 hours per week, in exchange for FREE ACCOMMODATION. Good command of English language necessary, plus an abundance of patience as the homeowner has short-term memory difficulties. Care required includes help with household appliances such as operating gas fire and washing machine, some light cleaning, mowing grass, preparing meals, tidying and washing up, plus some companionship, such as going out for walks together, visits to garden centres, watching tv together etc. It's important that the person would be able to stay the night in the home for at least 5 or 6 nights a week. Boyfriends staying overnight would not be permitted due to the householder's religious convictions. Own good-sized furnished room with large fitted wardrobe and single bed. Pleasant and cosy bungalow with large sitting-room/diner and separate kitchen, central heating and broadband internet. Garden to front and back - someone with interest in gardening therefore preferred. Off-street parking.
