Kasia:
And it is time for me to move on - I lived in Baobab from August 2011 for 2. 5 years! It is amazing house with great atmosphere.

The rooms are big with plenty of storage. There is a large living room with nice sofas and big telly. The kitchen is new (redecorated in 2014), very light and bright. The cleaners are coming every second week and doing a fantastic job keeping all the communal areas clean.

But the Baobab is not only a house. This place feels like HOME and I was lucky to meet amazing people while I was living there (Gwen and Dennis included!).

I am moving out from the house but I will definitely keep in touch and always be one of Baobab's friends.

Kiren:
I lived at Baobab House from Oct 2008 for 4 years!

I have lived with many great people throughout my time at the house- Patricia, Udo, Nathan, Leanne, Sarah, Padma, Yui, Kristy, Andy, Heysun, Neill, Kasia, Marny, Kasani and Hayden were some of my housemates. I also became friends with some of the housemates at Magnolia house. I loved living in the house, it is a very homely, clean and social environment. Gwen and Den were fantastic landlords who were always happy to help.

The rooms are lovely, with plenty of storage space and the cleaners do an amazing job at keeping the comunal areas clean and tidy. The location is perfect - it only took me 10 mins to walk to work, a gym, Burnham train station and shops are all within close walking distance.

I highly recommend the house and am extremely sad to be leaving. If it wasnt for a new job in a different town I would have stayed at Baobab for longer than 4 years. I have made some amazing friends who i will be staying in touch with - Gwen and Den included. I will miss living at Baobab! :(

Leanne:
I lived at Baobab House from Aug 2009 to Jul 2011 - Kiren, Sarah, Padma, Yui, Kristy, Andy, Heysun and Neill were my housemates. (Not all at once as there are only 4 bedrooms but they came and went as their work placements dictated)

I loved living in the house; it was a really warm and welcoming environment - living with very social people, but also people who understand if you just want to relax alone.

Gwen and Den were fantastic landlords, nothing was ever too much trouble and we always had plenty of loo roll!- and fun people to have chats with! The rooms are lovely and kept to the highest standards - especially since the brilliant cleaners started.

I can only highly recommend the house, and urge potential housemates to look at rooms quickly as they get filled up straight away! I was sad to leave (having decided to move abroad), but have made great friends I hope to always stay in touch with.

Kristie:
I arrived in Slough beginning of April 2010 and have stayed at Baobab until end of Sept 2011. (Its gone so fast!) Gwen and Den are great landlords :) nothing is too much trouble and the sofa in the back garden is especially nice in the summer - a proper sun trap! From first meeting my housemates Leanne, Kiren and then Yui, who has now been replaced by Andy - everyone was really friendly and welcoming.

I didn't know anyone when I first moved down to Slough so it was lovely to have a homely place to come back to after work! It is a sociable house and we like a drink but also time to ourselves as well, definitely worth a look guys! Have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the house - thanks everyone, keep in touch! xxx

Sarah:
I lived in Baobab house from August 2009 until April 2010 with Kiren, Padma, Leanne & Yui. I only left because I decided to re-locate abroad, otherwise I would definitely have stayed. The house is nice and big and very well kept. Gwen & Den look after everything so well and are lovely friends as well as landlords. I'm so glad I found Baobab and hope to keep in touch with everyone. Highly recommended :)

Padma:
Baobab is without a doubt the best shared house I've lived in. It is very well looked after by a really nice and very helpful couple and situated superbly for all means of commutations. Rest of the housemates are friendly and easygoing and it always felt like home. I consider myself lucky to have found this place and highly recommend Baobab.

Yui:
I've been living in Baobab House since January 2010 with my lovely housemates Kiren, Leanne, Sarah and Kristie. I'm leaving here as I am finishing my job and moving in with my boyfriend. Otherwise I would stay as long as possible! It's really good to have landlords like Gwen and Den who are always nice and helpful. Highly recommended :)

Patricia:
Since the moment I set foot in Gwen's house I fell in love with it. I'd seen so many awful places in Slough I couldn't believe my luck when I found Baobab House. I've been living there for almost 3 years now. The house itself is very open and spacious which is great as it's a shared house. There is a very big garden too which is lovely. If ever anything in the house needs fixing Gwen is on the case immediately. The house is social without being intrusive. I would recommend this house!

Nathan:
My time at Baobab House has been a great experience. I was glad to live next-door to such a nice, helpful and uncomplicated person. Going out with Gwen for a Christmas party, enjoying a summer BBQ in the garden, or simply having a pleasant conversation - those were wonderful days!

Markus:
A highly recommendable house share in Slough; Good location in a calm area (close to Bath Road), all rooms and facilities in top condition, with everything you need (shops, pubs, bus + train station) at walking distance. The setup is very social - you will find the housemates to be open-minded, cordial and a lovely bunch. I have spent 10 great months here! Hate to leave, but it's time for me to pass the hat to the next lucky tenant.

Clair:
I had a real laugh during the time that I stayed in Gwen's house share. I had a great year there; a really nice bunch of people, nice owners and a good, central location. Some great places nearby for walks, runs and bike rides. Having looked at other houses / flats, I don't think you'll find another good sized place that's clean, and with easy-going people. Highly recommended!

David:
I have lived at Baobab House for 2+ years and in that time I can count Thomas, Lorraine, Kevin, Clair & Sook Young as fellow housemates. The house is homely rather than just a room that you are renting. My room had a queen size bed, built-in-cupboard & desk. Gwen & Dennis have even arranged BBQ's for all the housemates. Amenities are walking distance. Definitely worth seeing ASAP!

Kevin:
Well what can I say; it was quite honestly one of the best years of my life living in the Baobab House, even though it had a long name. The owners are friendly and inviting and operate the house so that it stays clean and nice to live in. Oh and the SkyPLUS was brilliant!! I would recommend this house to anyone who is working in and around Slough as the location is brilliant. The rooms are of good proportion, however I would have liked the owners to do my laundry, but you can't have it all.

Lorraine:
I worked on the Bath Road in Slough and Baobab House is very well situated to commute, or even walk, to work. There is very easy access to the M4 if you need to travel anywhere else in the UK. Cippenham is a quiet village and you don't even feel like you are part of Slough. There are 3 pubs not far from the house plus an M&S Food Hall and ASDA within walking distance. I left the houseshare because I decided to move country.

Joanne:
A couple of years ago my husband and I stayed at the Baobab House in Slough...Great memories, fantastic housemates, and wonderful landlords (Gwen & Dennis). We stayed there for just under a year, and then went to the USA for a couple of months. On returning to the UK, we were lucky enough to gain a room back at Baobab House. Since leaving the UK, we have been fortunate enough to travel the world, but will always have fond memories of our time at Baobab. Definitely a house to check out!

Richard:
Baobab House was amazing! Its well looked after, clean and the rest of the flatmates are easy to live with. Gwen and Dennis are GREAT and are really friendly and supportive. Perfect place to call home!

Sook Young:
Baobab House is very close to Bath Road that was very good for me it took only 9min to get to work. And also all the facilities Gwen provide in the house is very useful. I had to leave because I went back to Korea.
