Spacious Double Room In 3-Bed House In Bedminster
We're John (32) and James (32), and we are looking for a third housemate to take up a spacious double room with a shared bathroom between 2 in a 3 bedroom house.
The room will be available from 1st July (we are flexible for an earlier move in date). The room comes unfurnished with plenty of storage coming from built in wardrobes and cupboards.
We're around the corner from North Street, so there are plenty of great amenities, shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, and a stones' throw from the Harbourside and Ashton Court. There is free on-street parking and we are a 10-minute walk from both Bedminster and Parsons Street train station.
The rent is £685 per month. Bills are not included, but the current average is £130 per month. Council Tax band is B, and we have gas and electric.
We have a spacious open plan living room, a good sized kitchen with a gas hob, plenty of cupboard space and a dishwasher. There's two bathrooms (one shared between the 1st floor bedrooms. The other is an ensuite as part of the loft bedroom), patio garden with shed, and space under the staircase available for storing your bike.
You
We are looking for one housemate in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties, who has fun hobbies and interests. Someone who is kind, a good communicator, happy to chill and have a laugh with their housemates, but equally happy in their own company. We like to keep on top of cleaning and tidying, so want someone who is happy to chip in with that and make the house a home. If you're interested, please send a detailed message to give us a sense of your personality, interests and working arrangements.
All applications will be considered and if successful, we will be in contact for potential viewing dates/times.
Viewings will be arranged with John and James but any potential applicants will be subject to references through the letting agency.
John
I’m 32, work full time, Mon-Fri at the Community Farm in Chew Magna. I'm into cycling, hiking, running, love to cook and eat out. Into good films, politics, art and big into my music. Always up for good chats and socialising, but also enjoy my own company too! I'm pretty conscientious housemate, easy going and love to have a laugh.
James
I'm 32, currently working for the council and mostly from home. I like to keep active with cycling and running, I love watching films and tv, viewing art and occasionally drawing and listening to music (mostly jazz and funk). I've recently acquired an allotment so spend a lot of time there. I'm very sociable and happy to make new friends. I have lived in Bristol for 6 years on and off, and looking to remain here for the foreseeable.
If you have any questions about the rooms, the contract, or even us, please feel free to message.
