A large double bedroom with a private ensuite is available in our lovely home. This would be perfect for a young woman who wants to move into a ready-made home. The room is unfurnished with lots of potential to make your own. Like the flat, it has been finished to a high spec so it is very easy to keep clean and tidy.
The flat was newly refurbished in 2018. The shared living area of the flat is nice and bright which is great for cooking and dining together with a wine or two. The second bathroom is shared between the two other flatmates Amy (31) and Olivia (28).
One of the best attributes has to be the roof terrace (something which is particularly unusual for this price and location!) It was our lockdown project and has made the perfect sanctuary for summer days and evenings.
You would be living with Olivia; a young working professional who enjoys red wine, live music and dancing in the kitchen (whilst making the flat favourite mushroom and leek pie!) On weekends Olivia can be found in Cornwall with friends or finding the best oat flatwhite in Bristol.
Amy is an Optometrist who enjoys finding the best brunch spots and makes a pretty impressive pancake stack herself. She spends her time playing hockey, watching the rugby and loves a pub quiz.
Both are fantastic housemates and good friends. They LOVE a Sandra Bullock movie on a Sunday evening, the only requirement to live here is to always pick up some treats to share on the sofa together. Bonus points if you can help keep a tomato plan alive!
Olivia works a hybrid of wfh and in-office whilst Amy is out of the house working 9-5. The room available has plenty of space for a desk for working from home if required.
Location location location
The harbour is on our door step which is perfect for walks and runs. The flat is a 10-minute walk to wapping wharf home to some of our favourite eating spots and a 20 minute walk to the city centre. 5 minutes down the road you will find the lively North Street full of restaurants, coffee shops including a Sunday farmers market. Bedminster train station is also close by (15 minutes).
The boring bits
We have Virgin internet which has coped with two of us working from home. We have a washing machine and dishwasher. There are two double flats below us, we are all owned by the same landlord who is very friendly and helpful. On road parking is available with permit purchase.
Bills are NOT included in the rent, they average at around £130 at the moment but seem to rising!
In terms of move in dates, our current flatmate is aiming to vacate at the start of July to move into their newly purchased house. Move in date would likely be the 1st of July, but to be confirmed.
We would prefer to do viewings in person, to meet you and for you to also see the room. It's better in real life!
