Single room in bright spacious 2 bed flat

I am looking for a flatmate to rent my single room who like me is easy going, friendly, polite and sociable. You must be clean, tidy and respectful of my flat. Preferably female occupiers.

The let will either be a Monday to Friday/Sunday to Thursday type let or a full-time let for a 2-4 month period. I am happy to negotiate alternative terms but preferably only looking for short term lets.

The flat is on the first floor with two bedrooms. There is an en-suite in my bedroom, therefore, you would have free use of the family bathroom (I rarely use) which includes a bath and shower head, toilet and sink. There is also a kitchen/living room and hallway.

The flat is approximately six years old on a newish estate of similar blocks of flats and terraced houses all 2- 7 years old. Despite being off busy Milton Road the flat is set back on a very quiet estate which includes a communal garden. It is surprisingly spacious for a two bedroom with a lovely juliet balcony which the sun beams through all day (provided the sun is out!).

The let will initially be on a two to four month basis (negotiable) and ideal for someone who:

1. wants somewhere to stay whilst looking for somewhere more permanent;

2. is on a secondment/internship;

3. thinks we will get on well enough to agree a longer rental;

4. works at the science/business park.

Cost: £300 per month inclusive of bills and wireless broadband if the let is Monday to Friday (type let) or £400 per month inclusive for a full-time let.

Availability: ideally to start in May (earlier or later date negotiable).

Just off Milton Road on an estate just past the Milton Arms, ideal for someone who works at the business or science park!

Science/business park – 15 minutes walk – 1 miles

Grafton centre – 30 mins walk – 1. 7 miles

Grand arcade- 38 mins walk – 1. 9 miles

Bridge street– 33mins walk – 1. 7 miles

Cambridge train station – 49 minutes walk - 2. 5 miles (I work near the train station and walk every day!)

*obviously cycle journeys will be much quicker!

Car/Bike Facilities:

There is a bike shed with a security code – which you can use.

I have use of the allocated car parking spaces, however, there is room to keep a car on the estate roads comfortably – many other residents do.

Nearby bus routes:

Busway C, Citi 9. You can take a short walk to pick up Citi 1 and 2.

Cabs:

Are always easily available, one into town cost approximately £8.
