Spacious part furnished Double in Large 3 bed Victorian Penthouse (2nd and 3rd floors), to share with one female professional in late 20s and one male post-doc neuroscientist in early 30s. There will be 3 people in total in the house. MINIMUM 6 MONTHS LET--long term tenant preferred. Available from the 20th of November 2014.

The house is semi-detached, spread over 150sq mts over 2 floors, retaining period Victorian features, high ceilings, with a charming shared garden. Very large spacious living room with a balcony overlooking the botanic gardens, separate shared dining room/study/guest room. 1 shower room (new show cubicle being installed) & WC as well as an additional airy and light bathroom upstairs with a bath tub. Fully equipped kitchen and breakfast room with all white goods (fridge, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, new sink). The room will come furnished with a double bed (divan base with storage drawers in the base). The room can be made available unfurnished as well if this is preferred. Located on Bateman street, the house overlooks the Botanic Gardens, is on a quiet residential street. The house and neighbours are all academics.

We are looking for a mature professional / post-doc/ academic to share this beautiful space with---females preferred as we are trying to continue with the balance we have currently. We have our own lives though we do like to share a pint or catch a film together regularly. There will be a house cleaning service, but it is expected that the shared spaces should be kept tidy.
We're relaxed, tidy (admittedly not regimental) and very considerate professionals, working full time in Cambridge. We're hoping to find someone we can get to know even it's only via the occasional meal together or evening out--- our current house is a home to us and the three of us have become very good friends, so we would like to continue that homely atmosphere in our new home as well.

We work longer hours and are sometimes away on weekends, but when around, we love watching films, tv series, attending local gigs and events etc especially given how much is always on in Cambridge.

Professionals only, no students please! Single Occupancy only--no couples please! The landlords prefer post docs with the University or members of Cambridge university as the property is let through the university and the landlords will need to pre-approve all tenants via standard rent checks processes.
