Queer-friendly, sociable house just off Mill Rd

Hello! We are two mid-twenties to mid-thirties professionals, both working with educational institutions in Cambridge, looking for a nice new housemate to replace our friend who just moved to Germany for a change of scene.

The house is centrally located, not far from the Railway Station and the centre of Cambridge, but far out enough to be peaceful at night and in the trendy Mill Rd area, near two supermarkets and within spitting distance of a curry takeaway and a good pub or two. We have a decent sized and comfortable living room, a small but nice garden and a guest room which gets reasonably frequent use, and is open to all visiting friends and family of housemates.

Our ideal flatmate would be queer or queer-friendly, and open to people of many different backgrounds, opinions and orientations, as we like to keep the house a safe space for all. We host a lot of boardgame evenings and any housemate would ideally be at least tolerant of these, but obviously another enthusiastic gamer would be even better! We are both fairly hardy individuals and don't need much heating, so we would prefer someone who doesn't need a furnace-like house to be happy (though of course in winter some heating is necessary!).
