Large Double Room In Georgian Apartment

I'm seeking a like-minded FEMALE for a large double room, who is easy-going, professional, quiet, mature, independent and considerate.

I'm a teacher and live in my home with my 15 year old daughter half the month. I work hard in the week and see my home as my sanctuary for evenings and weekends, to relax quietly within whenever I can - especially with a large glass of vino :)

My ground-floor apartment boasts high ceilings, huge shuttered sash windows, wooden flooring, moulded ceiling roses and spacious rooms. It is part of a Georgian building. My whole home is newly decorated and has been a 'labour of love' since I moved in last year..

I am advertising a very large double bedroom with lots of character, 2.8m high ceiling, a grand fireplace (not working) and a huge (newly shuttered) sash window, tucked at the end of the hallway away from my space and opposite the bathroom.

The apartment is in the conservation area and is next to the village green, which is very quaint and pretty with lots of trees and old character properties.

The apartment includes a car parking space, a small garden space which is also part of the the apartment and a large shared lawned garden space with neighbours, plus a shared bathroom and kitchen; I'd like privacy in my own lounge area. You would use the rear door as your entrance, which goes straight into the kitchen (shown in the video)
The kitchen is light and spacious and includes everything needed; there will be a large cupboard for your own items too. The washing machine & tumble dryer are in the corner of the bathroom/utility space.

I'm flexible on time to start the rental.

The room is fully furnished with a double bed, large fitted wardrobe, freestanding wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a TV / small sofa. Bedding and towels are included too.

Cottenham is 6 miles from Cambridge. The Citi 8 bus goes into Cambridge every 30 minutes. Driving takes 15 mins and cycling into the city centre takes 30 mins directly through Histon, over A14 and down Histon Rd while it's 10 minutes to bike to the Guided Bus in Histon.

Cottenham has a cosy pub (2 minutes from the apartment), a Co-op, chemist, and post office and a fabulous curry house - a Rumbles Fish and Chip is coming soon . The nearby village of Histon (2 miles toward Cambridge) has 3 pubs including a bar/brasserie and an Indian restaurant and cafe.
