Good Pleasant Double en suite furnished bedroom ( single occupancy) to rent in a house in Longstanton with myself and other lodger. I have had lodgers now for several years and it will be up to you if you wish to keep to your room or spend time in the rest of the house. I hope you will feel it is a home and not lodgings. I have an active life so am not always around.

THE ROOM: Double bed complete with duvet, pillows and bedding ( spares too) 3 draw small Bedside table with lamp. Computer desk with shelves. Desk lamp, chair and wastebin. Additional ikea chair. Double wardrobe, hanging space with shelf, large 3 draw chest. Room has two windows looking out to the front of the property over a brook and open meadow, lovely views. 2 radiators in room and several plugs. TV point but no TV provided Room has use of kettle and microwave if wished.

EN SUITE Large en suite with a large shower cubicle, Toilet and Large sink with cupboards under - has shelf, Mirror and wooden unit also in room plus wooden balenese style bamboo towel rail, Radiator and hook on back of door for robes, Wastebin and Mat.

THE HOUSE Use of the shared kitchen, Cooker, Dishwasher, Washing Machine. Microwave, Fridge Freezer, crockery and utensils. Kitchen goes into open plan dining/family room with settee and chair and TV with Freeview. Also downstairs toilet. I have my own separate living room.

OUTSIDE I have a nice garden and Patio to sit on and a garage adjoins the property where a bike can be stored. On road car parking outside - it is a quiet no through road. Out the front of the house is a grassed area with a brook and open meadow opposite - nice for a stroll!, Quiet and peaceful area

WHATS INCLUDED Gas, water, electric, Council Tax TV Licence and Wifi broadband - no phone.

THE AREA Longstanton is a village setting with easy access to the new upgraded A14/M11 and all major routes. Close to Cambridge, Newmarket, Huntingdon and St Ives. The guided busway is 10 mins walking distance or 5 min bike ride with a park and ride - Busway Takes 10 mins to Cambridge Science Park, and approx 20 mins to city centre bus station - Also goes to Huntingdon in other direction - there is a footpath for walkers, a cycle route into town or down the busway towards St Ives etc.

AMENITIES Longstanton village has a Co-Op shop less than 2 mins away on foot. Post Office and General Store, Dentists, Hairdressers, 5 mins from Local Pub ( The Black Bull) with Chinese takeaway, sports and social club ( also does takeaways) Sports and Football etc. Fish and Chip/Kebab Shop, Nursery - Bar Hill has a massive Tesco superstore and petrol station and other retail stores five minute car journey away. Also a shopping arcade and take aways. Willingham the next village also has local shops, PO, pubs, Chinese etc. The citi 5 bus goes into town.

RENT To be paid weekly by bankers order, usual work and income references and passport or driving licence ID please. One weeks deposit required - shorter lets may be possible and Monday to Friday available too.
