Double room available in a quiet, relaxed house in Oakington, a small village 4 ½ miles outside Cambridge; near to Histon and close to the guided bus to Cambridge.
The house is down a short lane, surrounded by peaceful farmland and with a large garden. There’s lots of parking available and shed space for bikes etc.
You’d be sharing with Mike, the landlord, who runs teacher training. The house has an eat-in kitchen, and conservatory which is lovely to eat your breakfast in while looking out into the garden in the morning.
Rent includes all bills: Gas, Electric, Broadband wi-fi, Council tax and Water. Plenty of storage is available in the loft.
The room is warm and a great size; 3.6m (11 ft 6) by 4.6m (15ft). Presently furnished with a single bed, and chest of drawers, table and large storage drawer under the bed. More (or less!) furniture is available if you need it.
This house would suit anyone looking for a bit of extra space, and some peace and quiet.
Times to get into Cambridge: Drive -10 mins; bus – 20 mins; bike – 20 mins mainly bike lanes. The bus stops at the end of the drive.
