Hi, I have a double bedroom available for rent as from 1st March 2016.
There are currently 2 housemates already in a 3 bedroom semi detached house. I am a live in landlord but will be spending more time away from home visiting family that are based outside the Cambridgeshire area which will mean that at the weekend I will mostly be away from the house.
The room is large and one of the bedside cabinets will be swapped for a computer desk and chair (not currently shown in the images). The room contains lots of wardrobe space, a double bed (bedding available if necessary at an extra cost), TV.
There is a shared bathroom, kitchen and living room.
The property has a front drive large enough for 2 medium or 3 small sized cars.
The rear of the property has a lawn and decking for those summer days (all 4 of them!)
Wireless broadband is available throughout via Talk Talk.
The current housemates both work full time, so the potential new tenant would ideally be working full time also. The room would suit a busy professional that likes to live in a clean and friendly environment but is able to retreat to own privacy as and when required.
As a live in landlord, I would rather have someone that is prepared to keep the house clean (it is my home after all) and is therefore not shy in getting out the vacuum cleaner or cleaning the kitchen and bathroom after each use.
The house itself is approximately a 25 minute walk to the centre of St Ives. It is located near Hill Rise park and has local shops within a 5 minute walk. The nearest pub is The Haywain and the guided bus stops are less than a 2 minute walk from the house.
