Large double attic room in terrace townhouse

Fully furnished double attic room for rent in my terrace house in Sandbach, where I currently live with my cat Ted, who has a lovely temperament.

I'm adding a bit more detail as I'm slightly postponing when it will be available. Hopefully it will prevent anyone wasting time in their search for a room.

Ideally I'm looking for someone who needs a room mon to fri only, but will definitely consider anyone who would fit in well and who equally would find it suits them too. I do a lot of practice in the day, so my lifestyle won't suit those who work from home or need mainly peace and quiet! Obviously living in a terrace (with lovely neighbours!) means I'm not making a racket later on...but my home is generally filled with music.

I'm happy to adjust the current price for anyone requiring mon-fri only, but I'm keen mainly to find someone who'd be happy and comfy here. Things like general day to day routines are important, as is seeing Ted my cat as a bonus not a negative. 😊

On to the room -

A large attic room, with king size bed (built in tv), built in double wardrobe, large wicker drawer unit, desk, pine drawers, and a sink. It has two large velux windows and another front facing window, accessed via a door off the first floor landing, with its own staircase.

The bathroom is on the first floor, with toilet, sink, bath and shower over bath. (Also on the first floor are my other two double bedrooms).

Downstairs, there is a small but cosy living room with open wood burning fire, leading through to a large kitchen diner also with a wood burning stove. The kitchen has the usual, washing machine, microwave, cooker...and piano - I do a small amount of teaching (clarinet and saxophone) in the kitchen 2/3 evenings in the week!

The house has off road parking space and on road parking to the front, and a small rear patio garden with paving and decking. It's a lovely sanctuary- I'm slightly addicted to plants and garden lights, and it's come spring/summer, if you appreciate a comfy egg chair and lots of bird 🐦 action!

If you like a comfy 'lived in' easy going home (albeit a musical one) and you don't mind living with minor cosmetic jobs that need doing (currently unaffordable, eg I'm living with appalling landing carpet shame) then it's probably worth coming to view.

It's a handy 5 minute walk from the centre of Sandbach and both the train station and the M6 are only a 5 minute drive.

I’m a 51 year old instrumental teacher, working part time within 2 local schools and I teach a small amount of private pupils at home in the week. I love music and dancing, mainly partner dances like modern jive, west coast swing, blues and tango and I play in a pub band/jam along at dance events.

The house definitely needs some tlc - it isn't pristine and maybe one day I'll be able to get all the work done! But it's homely, 'lived in' and hopefully will be right up someone's street.
