Our house

Spacious, light, double room (and bath/shower room shared with one clean and tidy person) with lovely country views in modern house 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The room is fully furnished with king-size bed (which can be altered to 2 singles) loads of storage, a desk/table, book shelves, and a sofa, in case you want to chill out in your own space. When you prefer some company, there is a shared modern kitchen/diner, laundry room and sitting room/conservatory with TV. We have Wi-Fi. There is a small pretty private garden to the rear for al fresco dining or sun bathing in summer, decking to the front, a double garage and plenty of parking space.

As we have cats and dogs, you will need to like animals, and we would like someone who is friendly, easy-going, adaptable, clean and reasonably tidy, and who pays their rent on time. We prefer a non-smoker, although you can smoke outside if you need to.

We have just returned from living abroad and IAN now works from home teaching English to Russians on the internet. Anna also teaches English as a foreign language, and Spanish to anyone who wants to learn it. We are young at heart, have a great sense of humour, and enjoy life and good food.

You can choose to cater for yourself, or pay a little extra and eat and live as part of the family. It is up to you. For lets of less that 3 months there will be an extra fee.
