House Share in Detached house in the Countryside. Suitable for Vegetarians/Vegans (no meat or fish in the house).

The house is approximately 2 miles from Ulverston/Dalton & 6 miles from Barrow. The Manjushri Buddhist centre at Conishead Priory is about 4 miles miles away, and Swarthmoor Hall is 2 miles away. The southern ends of Lake Windermere & Coniston water are about 15-20 minute drive away.

Parking available on the drive. House has great sea views over Morecambe bay.

Lots of outdoor garden space, so ideal if you like sitting outside reading a book on a sunny day, or growing your own veg.

The single room is small and cosy, with a shelf and large fitted cupboards with lots of storage space. Would fit a single bed and desk. The room is unfurnished, but you can use the single sofa bed in the picture if you wish, until you find your find your own (or when used for short term lodging).

Large Shared Kitchen with table, which also has space that would fit a 2 seater settee, so could also be used as a living room. The bathroom has a bath and a shower. Washing machine available.

Rent includes water rates, but excludes other bills (electric/council tax/internet). Bills are roughly £25 to £30 per person per week.

*** PLEASE NOTE *** The house is currently rented through an agency, so as such, any new full time housemates will need references for the agency and will sign a tenancy agreement. The agency may also charge a fee to do so.

As the property is in a rural location it may be better for someone who uses a car or likes cycling. There is a shed if you need to store a bike. The nearest bus stop on the A590 is about a mile away, and goes to Barrow in one direction and towards Ulverston/Kendal/Ambleside in the other direction.

You will be expected to share the usual things of helping to keep the house/garden tidy.
