Furnished Double Room available in a modern 3 storey town house situated on a new estate in Castle Donington.

The room is furnished with kingsize bed and situated on the middle floor. The bathroom is also situated on the same floor and whilst there wouldn't be dedicated bathroom facilities, we do have an ensuite ourselves, so there will be no fighting for the bathroom.

The house includes all the usual facilities such as dishwasher, washer, microwave etc. It also includes wireless broadband.

There is parking available, the house has a south facing garden at the rear with a patio area.

The room has just become available after accommodating a female student, and prior to that a female BMI cabin crew member for two years. Reference would be available if required

You would be sharing with a 40+ married professional couple. I am based in Nottingham but do travel a lot with my work both in this country and abroad. My husband also works in Nottingham for the same government agency. We enjoy going out at the weekends after a busy week at work. We are also members of David Lloyds, so try and fit in some exercise whenever possible. I would like to think that we are friendly, which I think would be supported by our previous guests, who we still remain in contact with. All this said, we also respect that privacy is key.

Castle Donington is within easy reach of the M1 (Junction 24) and the A50(Junction 1). Derby, Leicester and Nottingham are all within easy reach. It enjoys excellent transport links with railway stations nearby (the closest being a 5 minute drive (I use it daily to go to work in Nottingham). There is a 24/7 bus service (Skylink) that serves the village running to Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough and, of course, East Midlands airport.

What does Castle Donington have to offer? It has a variety of shops, four very good Indian restaurants, one Italian restaurant and an excellent bistro that has live music at the weekends. It boasts 5 public houses and an additional one in the beautiful adjacent village of Hemington, which is a 10 minute walk away. Last but not least, there is the Donington Park race circuit at the top of the village, which runs a variety of events throughout the year.
