Quiet and light double room

Hello :) I have a quiet and sunny double room available. It can be furnished or unfurnished. I'm a 36 year old teacher who works hard in the week but enjoys being outside and doing things in the evening and at the weekends. The house is in St Thomas; it's a 5 minute walk to the river, 15 minute walk to the Quay, 10 minute walk to Cowick Street shops and 20 minutes into town. There is non-permit on street parking. The house is on a quiet no through road. There's a corner shop and post office at the bottom of the road too.

I have lots of outdoor storage for bikes/surfboards and I have a shed that the previous owner converted into a workshop so that could be used if wanted. The living room has a woodburning stove and is brilliant on cold winter nights.

I'm easy going, relaxed and love the outdoors and would like to find a housemate - preferably a full time working professional or a PGCE student - who is similar so they would see this as their home too.
