Room for Rent In Peverell

The Devere-Smith Room

I have a furnished, south facing, double room (The Devere-Smith Room), with garden view, for rent in lovely Peverell, Plymouth. My current housemate is finishing her training in perfusion/ theatre at Derriford. She has been staying with me for coming up to two years and it has been a lovely time (hence the room is named after her). The decor at the moment is very girly, but will be willing to negotiate re-painting the room if staying for more than 6 months.

The house is fully double glazed and centrally heated (boiler on 2 hrs during the night & 1 hr in the morning during winter). There is a brand new DIY garden, new Hot Point dual-fuel cooker and new front-of-house rendering/ painting. The electrics and gas are both safety checked recently. The bathroom is most probably going to be refurbished in October prior to new contract (hence starting mid-Oct) and the hallway and dinning room will be redecorated this year. Before the winter strikes, new carpet will be laid down in the living room. Have free-view HD TV & Virgin broadband is due for 50 MB upgrade. Off road parking & 20 minutes walk to town/ training station.

Myself takes up the other two rooms (one bedroom & another box room as office space). I do like a clean bathroom, but otherwise not overtly OCD. I work in X-ray in the Southwest, and travel between a few places, including Plymouth and Exeter. Will be starting a PhD in 2015, while doing night & weekend shift at the hospital. Cooking is my favorite activity and you're welcome to try my food!
