Two bright, good size double with nice furniture.

The House.
Typical Lipson 4 bed terraced house with a lovely walled garden. The rooms and spaces in the house are very generously sized. The kitchen has a washing machine, 2-oven cooker, microwave, big fridge/freezer and second fridge - all new-ish. There is a cosy living room with TV next to the kitchen, which has become known as 'the snug', and a big living room at the front. The back of the house is south facing, so the kitchen and garden have lovely natural light the whole day. A big window above the landing gives the whole place a bright feeling. There is a bathroom upstairs with separate loo and a shower room downstairs. The garden has grass, flower beds, bbq, a gravely/paved patio area with table and chairs.

BT Infinity broadband and TV licence. Parking on the street outside is sometimes busy, but there are always spaces around the corner. The place is accessed via some steps, so may not suit if you have mobility needs. Also, there is currently nowhere convenient to lock cycles - might remedy that sometime.

We have a cleaner who comes in to do the common areas once a fortnight - you will be asked to chip in, but it's really not much. All other bills are included.

The Rooms.
Double bed, mattress, basic linen, wardrobe, chest of drawers, curtains, and nets, table lamp. There is plenty of room for anything of your own and you will be welcome to move furniture around, screw things to walls, put pictures up and so on. Heating system tests confirm that all bedrooms meet internationally recognised standards for 'quite toasty'. :)

The Barbican (waterside restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, indie theatre, arts centre, music venues, National Aquarium)
Central Park and sports centre

Lipson has easy access to the A38 east- or west-bound.

Current housemates are professionals (2 x f, 1 x m) interests include cooking, photography, travel, arty/crafty stuff, music, socialising, deep conversations and utterly daft humour. Our age range is mid 20s to early 50s. If we're all around on a weekend, there is sometimes a joint cookery project, a bbq, or a meal out, and occasionally we go out dancing. We're good friends, but we all have lives outside the house. We like living here and everyone contributes to making it feel like home.

Preferred housemate.
We're not fussed about your age, ethnicity, nationality, gender identity, orientation, whether you like Marmite or not, etc. We're pretty open minded really, as long as you are our kind of crazy and able to move in reasonably soon. Should say that we clear up after ourselves - we respect the place and nobody likes to come home to find all the pots dirty, but that's about as 'strict' as we get.
