Living room

We're looking for a daytime working person or mature student to join us.

Room 1 is a spacious double bedroom with a window seat and room 2 is a smaller double overlooking the garden, in a quiet and clean, friendly houseshare. We like to come back from work to a calm, relaxed space, and we often unwind together in our super-nice living room.

We want a responsible person who will clean up after themselves, is used to communal living, and who is willing to muck in with the odd bit of gardening. If you like making bread or cakes, that never hurts either ;)

We don't have a TV, so if you really like watching telly, this may not be your ideal houseshare. However, we are into many other things, like running, yoga, playing guitar, meditation, making crafty things out of fabric or wood, vegetarian food (but fine if you're not veggie!), sitting in cafes, tennis, walks in the countryside ... the list could go on.

The house is extremely roomy and overlooks a quiet park with mature trees. Come winter we have a beautiful log burner, which makes for wonderfully cosy evenings in. The house is a bit special and we try to take good care of it.

We are a couple in our late twenties. One housemate is a low energy building consultant and the other a theatre practitioner.
