The village of Sandford has two friendly pubs, one known for its Open Mic and comedy nights and the other for its Annual Motorbike Day and other events. There are two churches, a post office with shop and a publishers who will print for you. The town of Crediton is withing walking and cycling distance and has its own rail station an bus services to Exeter, Barnstaple and beyond. Crediton has a thriving, small Arts Centre and many locals are involved in the Arts, sport, farming, book clubs etc.
The single room occupancy is subject to references and the signing of a fair agreement. TV license and broadband are included within the monthly rent, but 1/3 of electric, water and any solid fuel(from mid/end September to April only)will need to be paid.
