Hello, my name is Phillip, a retired academic, male, aged 64, friendly, sane and sensible, easy going Humanist.

I have spare room in my home. It is a double room, with bright and sunny aspect, 3.5m x 3m, double bed (orthopaedic divan) , wardrobe, 3 chests of drawers, chair and desk. Bathroom (shared with the owner) opposite the bed-room. Shared kitchen,(freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, vax., ironing board), with your own fridge and cupboard space, Consider this your home.
The house is in a nice neighbourhood, with conservatory, kitchen, lounge, garden, wi-fi, gas CH, in a very pleasant location. 20 minute walk from Helensburgh Central railway station (5 mins from Helensburgh Upper rail station). Glasgow, by train is 30 minutes ( I used to take this route daily when I travelled into the university). Local bus service. Room for a cycle or car (easy parking). Close to Loch Lomond, the Coast, and short walk to the town centre. Helensburgh has a swimming-pool / exercise centre.
Please note there is NO TV and No Licence for one.

The accommodation would suit a self-sufficient student or a single, graduate professional who appreciates a quiet environment in a leafy suburb. You must be a non-smoker and not use recreational drugs. Please be clean and tidy. Male or female. Rent includes all bills, but Council Tax will be in addition (about £80pm), No CT for a student.
