Small furnished double room in friendly houseshare

I have a lovely small, light & airy double room to rent, fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk & shelving units. It’s available from mid September 2023 for a minimum of 6 months, ideally 12 months.

I'm friendly & welcoming, and I’m keen to share my home with like-minded people! I have successfully rented rooms in my house to many lovely people over the last few years, ranging from 6 months to 2 years.

I'm a full-time working professional, and as I mainly work from home, I am looking for a housemate who will mostly be out of the house during the day, either through their work or study. So this suits someone who works or studies during regular daytime hours, rather than shift workers.

I'm seeking a full-time working professional / mature student (Masters, PHD, final year) who is friendly, tidy, responsible and considerate, and also importantly, someone who is happy to share the household chores!

I enjoy friendly chats with my housemates, & I'm happy to have the occasional meal together when possible, & I'm also looking for someone who prefers to socialise outside the house, like myself.

Currently, it will just be the two of us, so this will suit someone who is happy to have the house to themselves for some of the time when I'm working away. So the house more suited to an independent person, rather than someone looking to spend time with their housemates on a regular basis.

Located in the Coombe Road area of Brighton, the house is friendly, relaxed and fully furnished, with a large patio garden & permit street parking. There are excellent local amenities and bus routes, & around a 15 minute walk into town.

The rent is £620 per month & includes all bills. A deposit of one month's rent is required, as well as reference checks, and there is a rolling 6 month contract. LGTBQIA+ friendly, however it's not suitable for couples, pets or DSS/UC.
