I have a pretty double room to rent in a 2 bed flat on the Brighton / Hove border because my lovely flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend mid-May (and leaving me on the sofa watching Bridget Jones 1 Bridget Jones 2, etc.)
The room is £482 a month, with bills around £120 a month extra. Pretty good value for the flat and the area!
The bedroom itself is unfurnished, but there are lots of decent second hand furniture shops locally.
In terms of flatmate, ideally you would be a clean and tidy professional female in your 20s or 30s who is sociable but not too much of a party animal during the week. A love of Chinese food and baking me cakes would be an added bonus.
