Flat mate 2 bed house Brighton

Hi, my names Janine, I'm 29, originally from Liverpool and I'm a mental health social worker. I'm looking for a new flat mate for the 2 bed house I rent near Bear Road/Lewes Road area. If you have a car it's perfect because there's no parking restrictions or permits needed but still close enough to walk into town.

The room that's available is a good size double, which is furnished (but can be removed if you have your own stuff). There's also a beautiful decked garden (grass too) with a chimeney, BBQ and table and chairs. The rent is £500 a month and bills generally are around £150 (each) a month. It's a private landlady so no agency fees which is good. She will require a deposit which will be around 6 weeks rent (£600 I think). She only asks that you complete the normal checks. It would be a 6 month contract which would change to a monthly rolling contract. I'm ideally looking to sign a new contract on 22 August. However the room will likely be free a week or so earlier or the move in date could be later if needed.

I'm pretty sociable, easy going and like the normal stuff. I'd like a flat mate who is open to doing the occasional thing together like cooking, watching some TV, going the pub ect. However I am respectful of others privacy so I'm not expecting to be joined at anyone's hip.

The main issue you might want to consider is that I do have a cat. He's no bother as he has a catflap and does his own thing. As I know this won't be ideal for most people I do have a cleaner who I'd continue to pay once every two weeks.
