Short term sublet in creative communal house
Hello!
We're looking for a like-minded housemate to join our incredible house near St Ann’s Wells Gardens for up to two months. There's 5 other housemates so you need to be happy living semi-communally with others! Please read ad fully.
About the house:
- Full kitchen, large living/dining room, 3 bathrooms, a garage with workshop area and space for bikes, larder to store food
- The house also comes with extra annex rooms (currently used as extra storage, laundry room and music room/gym...)
- We have a large grassy gardens (front and rear) with a vegetable allotment & fire pit etc, a rarity in Brighton!
About the room:
-Double room (maybe even triple - the bed is enormous) with bed, sink, sofa, writing desk, and currently quite a lot of stuff.
- £730 PCM with all bills included is the full price but I’m open to negotiation depending on how happy you are to be living amongst my stuff. I can also move some of it out and make space for you, and it is a huge room so there is still plenty of space, but it would be most suited to someone who likes to live amongst a bit of creative clutter.
About us:
- 5 friendly housemates who enjoy music, art, festivals, eating, drinking, swimming, DIY, BBQ’s & fires, walks, films, camping, gardening, partying and tea!
-We’re a sociable house, we take it in turns to cook and eat dinner together whenever possible. Some of us are vegi, some of us eat meat & fish, when we eat together we usually share vegi food.
- We like to hang out together, go to the pub or gigs etc. but we also understand the need for peace and quiet and alone time!
- We're all pretty laid back but enjoy throwing the occasional party (when it’s not a pandemic!) and having friends round for dinner/drinks.
We’re looking for some one who is…
-Up for living communally, getting stuck in with house maintenance (a quirk of the tenancy agreement) and cooking for the other housemates (we usually informally take it in turns to cook a large meal for the house)
- Willing to help out around the house, its a big beautiful house so needs love and regular cleaning
- Gardening- we have a great garden with loads of plants and a veg plot, so would be great to have another pair of hands to help. You don't need to be an expert gardener just have an interest in helping
-Proactively clean and tidy, living in a nice environment is a natural priority for you.
- Most importantly… friendly, considerate and up for a laugh!
If you're interested send us a bit about yourself, interests, hobbies, what you do in spare time etc. and we'll get back to you :)
I have time for viewings this weekend - namely Saturday before 4pm, Sunday before 2ish, and Monday morning. If you can’t make those times hopefully I can arrange another housemate to show you around, or we can zoom.
