I have a single room in a peaceful, Victorian terraced house set in a twitten [a pedestrian walkway] in the 'Brewery Quarter' of Lewes - near Malling area. The house is 15 15-minute walk to Lewes railway station, with fast regular services to Brighton and to London, and less than five minutes walk into the town centre and two minutes walk to the late night convenience shop. The room would be ideal for a responsible professional or mature student. The loft room is on the second floor, a sweet room with a single bed and a north aspect.

You would share the kitchen and bathroom with the professional owner and have the use of the front dining room to eat meals. There is a small rear yard where a bike could be parked [at your own risk]. There would be no more than two people staying in the house at any one time.

The house has a lovely, peaceful, and friendly ambiance and is very typical of the Lewes character. The professional owner was born in Lewes and has a wide range of cultural interests and has worked in hospitality and customer services as well as being a qualified archaeologist.
