Great Dbl Room, Cool Interior, Conservation Area!

I have a Double room in Southend for rent in a large four bedroom semi-detached Victorian house located in a Conservation Area - the nice side of Southend basically, with the pretty Prittlewell square and fountain just at the end of the road (20secs)and sea views and cliff walks from there too.

Although located in a pretty conservation area, everything is nearby, with the high street 5 mins walk away, and Southend Central Station about the same walking time away.

The house: large entrance hall, leading off to the living room at the front with large bay window and feature fire surround. The dining room also leads off from hall and currently seats 6 around the table (and there's an old piano in there if you wanna play!). Past the dining room, there is the morning room, another reception room, which is nice just to sit and have a coffee or a drink and chill or whatever. The kitchen leads on from this room, and contains integrated fridge and freezer, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and separate pantry/cupboard. The boiler is also located in the kitchen. From the kitchen there is also a downstairs toilet and shower room (which is freezing!), but handy to have an extra toilet! The kitchen also gives access to a courtyard garden, and rear access to the utility room on the side of the house - there is also access from the front as the utility room runs the length of the house. this houses a sink, storage cupboards and a washing machine, and is generally just really good additional storage space - bikes, boxes etc.

The stairs in the hall lead up to a small landing which then leads to the bathroom, which is brand brand new, shower over P-shaped bath, toilet, towel heater/radiator and sink - it is the only bathroom though so I don't know if that would be a problem for ysome people, although i am very clean and tidy! There is also a (bed)room at the back of the house next to the bathroom which I currently use as my dressing room. The stairs go round to the main part of the landing where there are another 3 bedrooms - two doubles and a single. I am in the front double bedroom, and the single bedroom at the moment just has a small-double sofa bed in (for friends or whatever if you needed them to stay?) and a tv unit, although if you wanted to use it as a sort of dressing room or wardrobe space then I am happy to look at what else it could be used for. The back double bedroom is the room available at the moment.

The room is a double room, which currently has a bed in, it with a mattress, but would be fine if you wanted to bring your own bed. There is a built-in cupboard in the alcoves and a feature fire surround. A window looks out over the courtyard garden.

There is a drive out the front, which has managed to get 3 cars on before, but would fit two fine.

Overall the house is in VERY good decorative order, modern and eclectic (described as boutique by a few people - whatever that means!)and would like to find someone who is clean and tidy and would treat the place with respect. There are still a couple of rooms that I am in the middle of decorating but on the whole it is in very good condition.

About me: My name is James and I'm 28 and currently commute in to Soho Central London every day and work as a senior manager at a private college there. I'm a gay guy, but not camp, and am pretty relaxed and chilled, like socialising but like being by myself sometimes too. Very tidy and house proud, and get on with most sorts of people. I also have two dogs, a Pug called Mollie and a French Bulldog called Phoebe, in case pets are a problem for you.

Ideally I am looking to share with a male up to the age of around 35, although will consider female, who is working - no DSS unfortunately. Smokers are fine, but no smoking in the house; there is a storm porch at the front or the back garden though.
