We are looking for a new lodger. Large, five bedroom, comfortable period home with a recently completed contemporary interior. The house is located in the popular and lively suburb of Chorlton off Beech Road, with lots of bars, restaurants and independent shops.

We are conveniently situated with direct access to the city centre via frequent bus services (5 minute walk) and the Metrolink tram (10/12 minute walk). Salford Quays/Media City, north and south Manchester can also be reached by the Metrolink. Manchester airport is a 15 minute drive and we have close access to major motorways. If you want to escape to the outdoors, Chorlton and Sale water parks and conservation areas are a short walk away.

Your quiet and private, fully furnished room is at the top of the house and comes with use of a shower room with walk in shower. If you require exclusive use of it this can be negotiated. You will have use of kitchen, washing machine and dryer, living rooms and garden.

You’ll be sharing the house with me, my partner and our cat, for the majority of the time. Depending on the time of year, one or both of our adult children might stay temporarily. This is a homely, family environment rather than a house share so please bear this in mind.

We are a sociable household and enjoy dancing, gigs, theatre, travelling and sport. We also appreciate relaxation, peace and downtime.
