I have a double room available in my own house in North End, Portsmouth. It's a nice quiet street but only 5 mins walk from the shops, bars and good public transport links.
The room I am letting is a largish double, with free broadband internet and the possibility of Sky TV for a little extra. There is a garden (in need of some loving care!) with rear access which is convenient if you cycle. All bills are included in the asking price of £375pm.
Happy to consider professionals or students, singles or couples and you would have to pass inspection by my kids who stay here regularly!!
