Large bright and airy room. Living with a family.

My wife and I have for rent 1 fully furnished, light and airy double bedroom in the much sort after area of the Wood estate in Hilsea, Portsmouth. The room has been redecorated, (5/4/18) and is centrally heated and double glazed. There is also plenty of storage. New bedding has also been provided. Rental includes all bills, your own fridge and cupboard space in the kitchen as well as the use of the washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a dining table in the conservatory for your use other than family occasions, (don’t worry, we don’t have too many😉). There are only 10 houses in our road and it is usually quiet. Parking is at the road side, however; this is not usually an issue. There is a safe location in which to store a bicycle. We also rent bicycles if you do not have one.

There are excellent links to the M3 and A27. There is a bus stop within 600 yards and 2 railway stations within half a mile. A leisure centre with an Olympic sized swimming pool and 2 gyms are within a 10 minute walk. Hilsea Lido is a 5 minute walk away and is used by people who like a sea walk. Coop, Tesco express and 2 pubs are also; within walking distance.

About us. We are a married professional couple in our 50’s. We are polite, well mannered and respectful. We will respect your privacy at all times, having said all that, we are a friendly couple who will hope to make you feel welcome in our home. To put this into perspective, our last 3 lodgers stayed for 3 years, 2.5 yrs and 2 yrs respectively. In fact one still visits us occasionally now so I’m guessing that we’re not that hard to put up with 😆

About you. You will be a non-smoking professional person or a mature student. You will be clean, tidy and respectful. Strictly no DSS or party people returning late from bars or clubs. Sorry but that’s an absolute definite!
