Double room available in thatched cottage in middle of Sutton Scotney from March 2012.

The cottage has a garden and easy parking, and is peaceful, clean and usually kept fairly tidy. It is thatched so quite warm and cosy. The room is upstairs, carpeted with curtains, and there is room to bring a desk if you need it (or there are tables downstairs you are welcome to work on), but otherwise has hanging space, chest of drawers and a double bed. There is an aerial point in the room should you wish to bring a tv.

The village has a pub which serves food, village shop with post office, petrol station & doctor's surgery. The village is surrounded by open countryside so plenty of walks/running/cycling routes. The village is about 7 miles north of Winchester, close to the A34, A303 & A30 so within easy reach of Winchester/Andover/ Basingstoke and about 30 mins from Southampton.

Nearest train station is Micheldever Station 5 miles away (London Waterloo 55 mins) plus there is a limited bus service run by stagecoachbus.

Broadband, washing machine & dryer; storage in the house itself is limited but I do have space for bikes etc outside and some space in the garden shed.

Please note I have 2 cats which are no problem generally save the odd muddy pawprint at this time of year, but may be an issue for allergy sufferers!
