Room in Sutton Scotney

Double room available in thatched cottage in middle of Sutton Scotney. Short term let's considered and also Monday to Friday arrangements.

The cottage has a garden and easy parking, and is peaceful, clean and tidy. The room is upstairs, carpeted with curtains, hanging space, chest of drawers and a double bed. There is an aerial point in the room should you wish to bring a tv (I do not have one available to watch downstairs).

The village has a pub which serves food, village shop with post office, petrol station & doctor's surgery. The village is surrounded by open countryside so plenty of walks/running/cycling routes. The village is about 7 miles north of Winchester, close to the A34, A303 & A30 so within easy reach of Winchester/Andover/ Basingstoke and about 30 mins from Southampton.

Nearest train station is Micheldever Station 5 miles away (London Waterloo 55 mins) plus there is a limited bus service run by stagecoachbus.

Broadband and washing machine; storage in the house itself is limited but I do have space for bikes etc outside.

Please note I have 2 cats, although these are only allowed in a small portion of the house due to resident allergy sufferer.
