Double room available in Woolston

The Living space

Hello,
I’m looking for either one working female or a couple to rent out my spare room in my flat in Woolston on a 6 month rolling contract basis.

Double Room to rent in Woolston on a lodgering basis. Has own bathroom (not an en suite, but opposite), storage space in the room, a desk and large drawers. Flat is fully furnished with large TV, wifi, full kitchen equipment, crockery, sofas, beds etc. Furniture can be removed (eg, double bed in your room) if needs be.

Price listed excludes all bills including council tax, utility bills (wifi/broadband, electrics, water, phone, TV etc), premises insurance and the building costs such as security and maintenance. No gas in house, all heating is electric. Bills negotiable, payment dates for bills can be either 1st of every month or weekly.

The flat is located right next to a large co-op that can be used as a supermarket, is 5 minutes walk from the Itchen Bridge bus stops, Woolston train station and the high street. Flat has free parking on the road outside the buildings, which isn’t a main road. The neighbours here are friendly but quiet and there are young families living in the building.

In the pictures I have tried to show the living spaces and the bedroom & bathroom that are to be rented. The hallway picture shows where the 2 doors are in relation to each other. The bedroom has a bed, desk with shelving and a large chest of drawers and a full length mirror. There is also a deep cupboard next to the drawers for storage, and it also has a place to hang up clothes in. The bathroom has a loo, bath & shower head and a sink with a mirrored storage unit and storage cupboards under the sink. The living spaces are equipped with everything you need and there is a 4-person dining table in there but its not shown in any pictures.

Will be sharing with one young female professional, a small (quiet Pug) dog and a very friendly cat. Happy to rent out to students or working couples, or working singles, but no children please. No smokers and no drug users- habitual or recreational. I am a friendly, clean, easy going person who loves cooking and relaxing. Not a huge party animal but I do like to go out from time to time. I spend a fair few weekends away but during the week I am usually in.

Room is ready now, however last lodgers damaged bathroom carpet so that will be replaced asap. Deposit is negotiable, but first rent payment must be made on move in and then on the 1st of every month or weekly. References absolutely required.
