Large double room

I have a large, recently redecorated first-floor room to let from Monday to Friday. It has a double bed, wardrobe, table and chairs and fireplace with electric stove. There is a large bay window and a smaller window, both with shutters. Wireless broadband and all other bills are included in the rent.

The rent for a couple is £100 more than the single rent for each room.

The bathroom with very good power shower, two separate loos, large kitchen/dining room, laundry room and small, sunny garden are shared with the other lodgers. We also have dogs who are restricted to the ground floor.

Although the let is for Monday to Friday only we would not often need to use the rooms at the weekend - you wouldn't have to move everything out. It's just that we like to have the house to ourselves at the weekend. The room would suit a professional working locally but with a home elsewhere.

The house is in a Victorian terrace on a side-street off the High Street. We are a ten-minute walk from the station (Euston 35 minutes, four-hourly service) and fewer than five minutes from Waitrose and other shops, restaurants, pubs, gym and so on. Access to the M25 is easy - about 15 minutes to J 20.

Parking is on the street and is easy in the evenings. During the day it can be difficult although you will always find a place somewhere.
