3 large double room with shared bathroom. 2 doubles with ensuite shower/WC.

I have been a landlord for many years and have also been a tenant!

I have other double rooms and singles with and without shower available from time to time.

For lodgers who only want Sunday to Friday arrangements I can reduce the rent.

It's a nice, recently furnished and decorated, single room with shared bathroom/WC and available now.

Spacious rooms in a clean house with large luxury kitchen dining room (I have plates, cutlery and pans etc). Utility bills, WIFI and council tax are all included.

Prefer 'normal hours' workers. No shift/night workers or people working or studying from home.

Close to amenities, places of worship, shops, dry cleaners, post office, banks, Elstree and BBC Studios transport to central London.

Close to and a bus ride to Watford and Warner Brothers Harry Potter studios in Leavesden.

Short term contract and studie workers welcome.

Clean, recently decorated with wooden (laminate in most rooms) floors and modern furniture.

Walking distance (15/20 min) to Elstree and Borehamwood station and High Street. Buses also run to Barnet, Edgware, Colindale, Radlett, Hatfield, St Albans, Watford and more.

Free street parking in a quiet road with no parking restrictions. Walking distance to Woodcock Hill woods and Morrisons supermarket - 2 mins away, Harvester pub restaurant, Gate pub and more.

Elstree and Borehamwood First Capital Connect Train Station (use oyster card for trains into St Pancras and the City) within walking distance or regular bus services. Direct trains to London St. Pancras/Farringdon/Blackfriars /City approx. 20 min, and Luton Airport and Gatwick Airport.

London Underground Northern Line – High Barnet or Edgware – Good local bus service to either station.

Excellent road links to the North, M1, A1, A5, A406, A41 and the M25.

20/25 minutes drive into West End (outside of rush hour!) and 15 minutes to Brent Cross, 10 minutes to Hatfield Galleria/Univeraity of Hertfordshire, T Mobile

Borehamwood is a great place to live. The borough of Hertsmere features high on Britain's "Happiness" index of the best places to live and work!

Borehamwood has most shops including: Next, Outfit, Boots, WH Smith, Argos, Marks and Spencers, LIDL, 24 hour Tesco superstore and Morrisons, as well as great local independent late night stores and a massive Poundland!. Debenhams has opened a new store in Borehamwood. There is an open air market on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Elstree and Borehamwood, the home of Elstree and BBC film Studios, also has loads of restaurants: Nandos, Macdonalds, Delissimo Italian, Chinese, Thai, Sushi, Kosher, Mr Baker, Indian, Turkish grills, best fish and chips in miles, Cafes, KFC, Subway, Frankie and Bennys, Pizza, Dominos, bakeries,, Greggs, Wetherspoons, pubs and coffee places, such as Starbuck, Costa, Nero's as well as fantastic (and cheaper) smaller independent outlets.

Borehamwood even has its own Cinema and the Ark theatre in the town centre.
