Double room available in Kimpton

I am looking for a female housemate (non-smoker) to rent out the spare bedroom in my 2-bed maisonette. The room is bright and cheerful, looking out over the quiet cul-de-sac. It's fully furnished but if you want to bring your own furniture that could be arranged. The room is available 7 days a week but am also open to a Mon-Fri let if this is more convenient for you.

The bedroom itself comfortably houses a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and there is plenty of under-bed storage space. Additionally there is storage space for you to use around the house: in the airing cupboard, shoe cupboard, loft and garage, so there should be plenty of room for whatever you want to bring with you.

I've got a TV with Amazon Fire Stick, Blu-Ray player and Wii Fit in the living room, and all the expected appliances in the kitchen - decent-sized fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher - because life is too short to do the washing up! I also have a small garden which is perfect for getting out in the sunshine when it decides to make an appearance :)

Kimpton is a quiet village so if you're looking for nightlife within walking distance then this definitely isn't the place for you! However, it is conveniently situated close by to Harpenden, St Albans, Stevenage, Welwyn Garden City and Luton. There is no train station. There are buses, but realistically you would probably want to have a car to live here.

As for me, I am 32 years old and work as a teacher in Harpenden Tues-Fri. I'm out by 8 in the morning and usually back sometime between 5 and 7. I work from home most Mondays so do need the living room to myself at that time. In my free time I like to spend time at home but I also have an active social life out of the house visiting friends, family, etc, so you'd get a balance of company and your own space.
