Double bedroom in homely Margate flat

The home.

This quiet friendly home is 5 minutes from Main Sands beach. It's a clean and comfortable two bedroom flat on the first floor of a 1910s terrace building.

Your private bedroom has a king sized bed, wardobe and other useful furniture.

The shared living room has a sofa, armchair, TV and a pull-out dining table.

This home is a calm and cosy place. Friends who have visited say it feels very homely.

There's great light in the double aspect living room. There's a small garden to enjoy (pictured in summer).

The flat is in a good location about 15 minutes from the station in one direction. And 10 minutes to Old Town in the other direction.

All bills included, except gas and electric. Gas and electric is split 50/50 between me and the lodger. Currently it's £51 per person each month.

Who I'm looking for.

I'm looking for someone who is chilled and pleasant company for chats and generally living alongside each other.

Someone who will enjoy chilling and relaxing at home verses it being a party house.

They have to be someone who is queer friendly. As well as not being racist, phobic, or generally discriminatory etc.

They have to be tidy and willing to clean regularly.

About me.

I'm a chilled out person who enjoys walking in East Kent as well as nights out with friends.

I run a queer writers group in Margate and enjoy being part of the wider queer community here.

Following a holiday to Japan in June 2023, I'm learning a lot about Japanese culture, including cooking Japanese food.
