Room to rent!

Hello hello! Our housemate is moving out so me and Inês are looking for a third person for our 36-month contract (break clause at 18 months) from START OF APRIL 2024 (the room is actually available NOW) ‼️ please don’t be scared by the duration of the contract, this was just to guarantee a lower rent. If you need to leave before the break clause, we can sort it out!

We’ve been in this house for 6 and 4 years respectively and it has truly become our home away from home <3
The property is located on Western Avenue (W3), right next to Lidl, and with direct connections to Central London via bus (the 7 will take you straight to Oxford St) or tube - Central Line (via East Acton Station, 10 mins on foot) or Elizabeth Line (via Acton Main Line, 20 mins on foot). There are many amenities nearby, and we are also very close to Westfield London.

The house is a top floor flat (no stair-free access I’m afraid!), with two levels inside - at the bottom there is a good size kitchen, a toilet and a large living room, where we have a 50” TV and our gaming consoles; above there are three bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 single) and a full bathroom with bathtub.
The room available is a FURNISHED single bedroom (bed, mattress, wall shelves, wooden chest of drawers and plastic drawers as well, and we also have blackout curtains which are not currently in use) with lots of natural light and storage space. The bed and mattress are less than three years old, and there is a lot of space for storage underneath the bed as well. It is £583.33 per month plus bills.

Bills come about to £130 per month plus one-off water bill (charged yearly). Deposit is £692, paid to Claudia (the girl who’s leaving), and she’s flexible if you need to do it in installments 😉

- Rita (me!): 33, Portuguese, part-time performer, full-time receptionist, nerdy and geeky, neurodivergent af
- Ines: late 30s, Portuguese, geek, former performer, working from home
- Amelia: the kitty cat! Loves pets and treats, will beg for your attention with head bumps and loud purring
This is a geeky, performing arts-y, neurodivergent and lgbt+ friendly household and we would like to keep it that way ☺️ Also as you might guess from the fact that both of us are Portuguese, there’s a massive boost to your application if you’re also from a Portuguese-speaking country!

- good-natured and not too uptight (we might be a bit messy at times, blame the neurodivergence!), but still somewhat organised and clean
- likes/not allergic to cats
- female, trans or non-binary preferrably
- mid 20s-late 30s
- Is in full-time employment OR has a guarantor (you will need to pass the agency checks)
- Bonus points if you like musical theatre, video games and anime
