Good size double room in fun and friendly flat
Firstly details about the flat -
The flat is located on a quiet residential road and located on the top 2 floors of the property. The flat has recently been redecorated and new carpets throughout.
The bedroom can be either furnished, partially furnished or unfurnished. Please let us know your preference. Pictures show two previous tenants and what can be done with room.
Shared bathroom with James (so plenty of room for lotions and potions) inc bath with shower, toilet, sink = all the essentials)
Living room is a great space equipt with a crazy-comfy sofa and old man armchair, all the necessary TV gadgets together with the dining table which sits 4.
Kitchen and pantry area - including large fridge freezer, dishwasher, cupboard space, extensive herb collection and gas hob / oven.
Council tax, electric/gas and broadband comes to around £120 pcm which we have in the past put into a house fund which leaves plenty for shared amenities and of course Sunday roasts.
Travel Connections -
Acton Town is a 10 minute walk from the flat for the Piccadilly Or District Line
South Acton overground station is a 5 minute walk.
It is also only a 3-5 minute walk from bus connections to Shepherd's Bush for the central line, overground and hammersmith/city line (approx. 15-20 mins by bus)
If you are feeling v. lazy there is also a bus stop at the end of the road to catch one to Acton Town station for the Piccadilly or District Line.
THE IMPORTANT BIT -
James and I are looking for someone to move in to complete our 3-bed flat. James works at a school and I am a cameraman.
We're after someone who's got a bit of 'something' to them. A few querks are definitely a requirement, for your own sanity as much as ours.
We're both working full-time and so mainly use the flat as a place to chill out, eat good food and work off the hangovers.
We need someone with decent hygiene skills who wants to get involved in cooking together, going out and generally doing stuff (no cretins).
Geeks of all forms totally welcome. A passion for anything is a must!
We're looking to get someone in mid-December but can accommodate earlier dates.
Here's a couple of quiz questions to think about before you pop round, we will be judging you on your answers ;)
What's your favourite box set?
What one item can you not live without?
Who is your hero (can be fictional)?
What is your signature meal?
Please contact me to arrange a viewing or if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Alasdair
