En-Suite Mezzanine double bedroom in Aldgate East

Available 3rd June 2024, fully furnished!

I’m relocating to Paris for work, so I will unfortunately be leaving my lovely room and house at the end of May.

ROOM
En-suite and furnished, the room is a lovely mezzanine double bedroom. It comes with a double bed (incl. under bed storage), mirrored wardrobe, desk and chair, chest of drawers, built-in mini wardrobes, bedside tables and shelves. The bed is upstairs, so it really feels like a “mini flat.” The bed area is quite low, so not the best for very tall people.

HOUSE
Modern, with 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (x3 of us have en-suite rooms.) We have an open plan kitchen and living room with a big TV, sofa, dining table, dishwasher, 2 large fridges, a washing machine and loads of cupboard space!

HOUSEMATES
We are all professional girls working in various fields, we have our own groups of friends in London but always happy to get together in the evening and try out the amazing restaurants the area has to offer! We’re looking for another girl to keep the balance!

LOCATION
The house is situated in a quiet private road with a gate & code entry access so it’s super safe! A short walk away from Liverpool Street, Shoreditch, Tower Hill, St. Katherine’s Docks, Limehouse and London Bridge.
It is very well connected, we are 5/7 minutes away from Aldgate East station, and 10/15 to Whitechapel, Aldgate, and Liverpool Street. Most of us walk to work.

IMPORTANT INFO
The current contract renews on July 21st, landlord would like to increase the rent by £38 each, but we are negotiating NOT to increase. I will move out at the end of May, so looking for someone to pay the first 2 weeks of rent in June to me, then June/July rent to my flatmate. Plus part of deposit, which we’ll be transferred onto your name once the contract is signed.
Rent - £795/month due on the 21st of the month (negotiating to NOT increase by £38, but if that doesn’t happen it will be £833 from July 21st)
Bills - they do fluctuate slightly depending on how much we consume, but usually between £100-£120
Deposit - £780 + 2 weeks June rent (£364)
I can be flexible with moving date :)

I’d like to do viewings starting next week, as we’d like to kick off referencing as soon as possible. No students due to council tax reasons, and ideally someone with a full time contract, sorry!!
