Small double available in Brixton!

Hey everyone!

We're Thao (27) and Marguerite (29) and we're looking for a third housemate in our 3-bedroom house as our housemate Hannah is moving to Australia. The room will be available from July, with our lease ending at the end of October (with option to renew). We've added a bit more detail on the house and us below so get in touch with a bit about yourself if you'd be interested in viewing.

About the house:
We're really well located in Brixton just off Acre Lane. It's about a 10 minute walk to both Brixton and Clapham North stations so you can get to the Victoria and Northern lines easily. The house has a great living area as well as garden, so it's a great spot for hosting and to hang out in. We're looking for someone who'd like a home instead of just a room to crash in, and would want to get involved whether it's for dinner, a film, or drinks. We like to go out on the weekends and have friends over but like to keep it quite chilled in the week as we both work full-time.

About the room:
The room we are renting out is a small double and located on the second floor, facing the garden. It will come with a bed, shelf, chest of drawers, and a wardrobe which is located just outside of the room in the hallway. There is a desk downstairs in the dining room so there is still an area to work in if you work from home (we have desks in our room). The rent for the room is £845. Bills come to around £150 per month and include water, gas & electric, internet, and council tax. The deposit (which was split evenly across the three of us) is £1,009.

About us:
Marguerite has been in London for 8 years and works in advertising. Thao moved to London from Sydney 6 months ago and also works in media. We're both really sociable people and enjoy going out - but also appreciate our downtime and like to go for walks after work, the gym, and have a night in with some Netflix. We both go into the office 2-3 days a week and work from home for the rest. We both have desks in our rooms so will be working from there if needed.
