A double room will be available from 2nd October 2015 in a lovely bright flat in Camberwell.

About the Room:
The room is suitable for either a single person or a couple. We have been sharing the room - there is plenty of storage space both in the room and the flat. It comes with a wardrobe and a kingzise bed. The bookshelf, bedside table, desk & chair you see in the photo are ours, however they are up for negotiation should you be interested in having either. The wardrobe holds enough space for two people's clothes & other items.

About the flat:
There's three bed rooms in total, plus a shared living room. The flat has been completely refurbished two years ago and comes with nice wooden floors in the living room & corridor, tiles in the bathroom. Bathroom & toilet are separate, and shared with the flatmates. The shower has got proper water pressure, for those of you who care about that!

The kitchen has a nice tall working surface and is fully equipped - toaster, kettle, gas stove, fridgefreezer, washing machine & plenty of cupboard/storing space.

The living room is where everyone comes together to hang out and relax. It's got comfy sofas and a lot of floor space for exercise, drawing or anything else you like doing. The living room as well as the balcony get sun all afternoon. The balcony offers a lovely space for sunbathing, reading, relaxing etc.

About the location:
The flat is situated right in the heart of Camberwell, with excellent transport links to all other parts of town. Denmark Hill Overground station is a 10min walk away and offers excellent connections to Southeast and East, as well as West London. Brixton Station is a 5min bus ride away. Loughborough Junction can be reached within a 10min walk, where trains take you directly to Luton Airport or to St Pancras, amongst others. There are about 15 different busses going to and from Camberwell, including night & 24h buses. Brixton, Peckham, Dulwich or Kennington are just a 5min bus ride from the flat.
Ruskin Park is the nearest big green area within a 10min walk, and it's a really lovely park. Burgess Park is huge and just a 15min walk/5min bike or bus ride away. Shops & amenities are all within a 5min walk or less (Tesco, Morrisons, Co-operative, bakeries, post office, bank, charity shops, pharmacies etc).

Rent:
The rent is excluding bills, which come up to a maximum of £50-£70 per month per person, depending on whether you move in as a single perosn or couple. Due to heating costs, this may rise during winter. Please note that the flatmates won't be able to pay the future flatmate's share of the council tax if they're a student.

The flatmates:
There's two sisters living in the other two rooms. One of them teaches and trains bartenders all over the world and thus travels quite a lot, and the other works in a bar and does amazing drawings in her free time. They have been the nicest flatmates during our time here and are super relaxed, easy-going and friendly. They've made us feel right at home when we moved in. We've had and are having a really good time with them, and will be very sad to leave!
