Super comfy yet spacious terrace apartment.

When I saw this apartment, I had to take it right away!

It has a great rustic feel to it without feeling run-down. The photos show the woodenly feel. Landlord has furnished it nicely in living room, open-plan kitchen and bedrooms. (Note; in photo the dining table is not shown).

The room for rent is medium sized, double-bedroom, with wardrobes, drawers. It's not a shoebox - you can move around in it. I wouldn't have taken a lease on a place where the second room wasn't going to be a total compromise for the other person.

Location is amazing! Quiet terraced street, feels safe. Wandsworth Road Overground is literally around the corner (1-min walk). Clapham North and the high street is about a 6-8 minutes (I can do in 6 because I'm a brisk walker). Stockwell is about 10-minutes is you're brisk (and and want to avoid Clapham North at peak hour). If you wanted to get to Vauxhall tube, it's only 10-mins on a bus up Wandsworth Road. Clapham Junction is only 5-10 mins away on Overground or bus.

Looking for someone who is professional, clean, respectful and wants to make the place feel comfortable and friendly. I'm not just trying to fill the room, I want someone who's houseproud and social - but who also leads their own life, etc.

I'm 33, male, Australian, gay - been living in London for 6-months, here indefinitely. I work in Shoreditch in a consultancy (so I jump on the overground right next-door - so convenient!). I like to gym, runs, theatre, movie-nights in, have ambitions to cook (better), competitive at board games.

I actually move into this flat on the 24th Jan - so the pics are actually of the current tenants' homewares, but most of the big items (couch, tv, microwave, etc) - will all be there. I'm arranging viewings for prospective short-listed flatmates in Dec/Jan. (If Spareroom is saying it's available now - it's not).

Shared bathroom. Would have loved an ensuite, but hey, you gotta economise at some point!

Ideally want someone to move in from 24th with me, BUT, if I don't find the right person I'll hold out. Living with the right person is A BIG part of flatsharing - hopefully you think likewise.

Suggestion: Preference is to do a facetime before showings - I've had a fair bit of interest so far, and it's probably best I don't show a 1000 people through the place before I move in there. Hope that's not too weird - I suppose saves you the hassle of trekking out to meet me in the cold!

Rent may come down £10 per month once I work out exact agent fees, etc.

Anything shorter than 6-months can be considered, but it might boost the rent slightly.
