Master bedroom with en-suite in a 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms house next to Wandsworth Road available at the end of January, with some flexibility for the moving date.
Location
The house is very well located, moments away to Wandsworth Road (Overground). Clapham Common (Northern Line) is just a 15 min walk away, through the super charming Old Town. The area is also very well deserved by buses to Kensington, Hyde Park, Westminster… Basically, every interesting location in central London is reachable in 30 minutes. This makes the house a very good solution for commuters working in the City, Mayfair or Canary Wharf.
Description
The house spans over and has 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a double living room and an exceptional family kitchen with professional amenities (if you like cooking, the gas stove and ovens will give you the possibility to challenge your talent and creativity), leading to a Asian-style patio through French doors, making the common areas absolutely unique, perfect for summer BBQs and winter dinners as well.
The available room is the master bedroom on the top floor with its own bathroom. It’s full of light, has a super king size bed and large storage with two big built-in wardrobes.
The area
The direct neighbourhood is pretty convenient with local shops (Sainsbury Local and diverse convenience stores) a stone’s throw away. The house is a residential street so not directly off the noisy road.
Just cross the road and you are in the trendy and iconic Clapham Old Town, its shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. Both Clapham High Street, for your night out on Saturday night and the Common, for your healthy work out of Sunday morning, are minutes away.
The flatmates
You will share the house with two young French male professionals, aged 27 and 30, working in the City and in Mayfair. Both are working normal hours, are sociable and easy-going but respect the personal pace of everyone. They would like someone who like-minded, who enjoys his own space but who is also happy to share a beer or two at the local pub or organise a dinner.
Price
The rent is set at £1,100 pcm, excluding bills which are around £120 per month and per tenant and they include gas, electricity, water, internet and council tax. A cleaning lady is coming every Tuesday morning for an additional £25 (per week).
As we are processing through an agency, an admin fee of £300 is charged and the future flatmate will have to go through the classic credit/reference check.
