Apart from the en suite shower room, there are two bath/shower rooms, a large fitted kitchen-diner with electric eye-level ovens, micro wave, halogen instantaneous electric hob and washing and drying machine and a new large lounge with laminate floor, reclining leather sofas and tv with Sky + HD with Entertainment Extra programmes and catch-up tv service.
On the first floor there is a spacious, bright, en suite double room which overlooks the garden. It has a super king-size double bed, accessible from both sides, two built-in double wardrobes with mirrors, a chest of drawers and a small fridge, a pouf bean nag easy seat, well as the tv. There is space in the window bay for a desk. There is also the Sky + HD and the Entertainment Extra tv package with all the film and sports channels directly and independently to the room.
At the back of the house there is a paved back garden with BBQ and table and chairs, trees and shrubs.
There is also off-street parking at the front of the house.
The house is only five minutes walk from the nearest transport connections and facilities, including where the night bus N551 stops and the shops and park.
1. Docklands Light Railway (DLR) at Prince Regent station and EXCEL are 10 mins walk.
2. Custom House on the new Elizabeth line is 15 minutes walk or five minutes by buses 147 or 473 which also goes directly to the city airport.
3.. Canning Town Station on the Jubilee Line is 10/12 minutes by buses 147 and 300, so you never have to wait long for a bus.
3. Canary Wharf is about 20 minutes from the house, door-to-door.
4. Bank Station in the City, on the DLR and/or Central lines, is only 30 minutes away.
5. Bond St on the Jubilee Line in the West End is only 40 minutes.
Best of all, the night bus N551 stops on the corner of our road and takes only 45 minutes from the Trafalgar Square, which is close to Picadilly and Leicester Square and only 40 minutes from the Strand, near Covent Garden and it runs every 30 minutes. If you miss a bus go and have a coffee in the Strand Palace Hotel, which is a minutes walk away from the bus stop on the Strand. Their bar is open till 3 am! So no need even to wait outside until the next one arrives.
AND
Paris, Brussels via City of London Airport are only 35 minutes away and the airport is only 10 minutes by bus 473! .
Within 5 minutes' walk, there is a pleasant park, shops and a mini supermarket, five take-out eateries and Newham Leisure Centre with its large swimming pool, sports field and 24/7 gym, with affiliations to other gyms in London. The area is peaceful.
We are looking for a professional person/couple who respects other people's space and need for quiet. Other than that, we are quite liberal and friendly and enjoy socialising when our busy work schedules permit.
