Big double with own bathroom in spacious flat

We are sad to be saying goodbye to one of our flatmates early in the new year, but are excited to invite someone new and shiny to share our four-bed home and to get to know. We are looking for a female flatmate as we are one female, and two males so we’d like to keep the equal balance.

The available room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and a set of drawers, and is large enough for other furniture should you have it. Like every bedrooms in the flat, this room comes with a great perk - it has it’s own bathroom! It’s just opposite the bedroom door and has a shower, sink, toilet etc.

Our flat takes up the top two floors of a large house. On the top floor we share a really big open kitchen and lounge area, with a decent sized balcony that has an amazing view over rooftops - brilliant for the warmer months of the year. The kitchen is kitted out well, with a dishwasher, two fridges/freezers, plenty of cupboard space, and the usual mod cons. We are located right on Lordship Lane in East Dulwich, within a 5 minute walk of countless pubs, bars, restaurants and shops, but out of the way enough to avoid the crowded pavements. East Dulwich station is 10-15 minutes walk or a 5 minute bus, with Forest Hill, Denmark Hill and Peckham Rye stations within a 15 minute bus ride away - perfect for getting to London Bridge and East London.

You will be sharing the flat with Belle (25), Jack (39) and Chris (32). We're an events-worker-come-comedian, actor/director, and software developer so we all have fairly different schedules. This makes the flat a fairly quiet place so there's a lot of privacy and space if you need it, but we do all get on great and like to have a chat and a catch up when our schedules collide.

We have a private landlady so there are no agency fees to pay. She just needs a deposit of £830, the first rent payment (£600) and a couple of references. You will sign a joint contract with us for a year but past flatmates have moved out mid-contract without any problems. The room is available from 7th/8th January. Bills are not included and are approx £80 per month - each person in the flat takes care of one bill.
