Short-term small double room next to Finchley tube

I am renting out 1 small room with double bed in a large 2-bedroom flat 10 minutes walk from West Finchley tube station. Flat is in process of being sold (sale agreed, so you won't have any viewings going on). The process of completion can take from 1 to 2 months. So it is a short-term let.

Other room is occupied by nice young Italian couple, professionals who are rarely at home (working really hard).

Current occupant is moving out on August 12th but we can arrange earlier if needed.

Cost is £500 a month. All bills are paid for (including broadband). Only bill to share is electricity bill share between 3 of you but it will come not more than £15 a month.

There is free parking on the street but also there is a private garage (you'll have to pay £50 extra if you need it).

Bedroom: double bed, build-in cupboard, shelves, carpet throughout.

Flat has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, huge living room with floor to ceiling patio doors which lead to a medium size patio. There is separate kitchen equipped with everything you need. The flat is more like a house with its own entrance arranged over 2 floors with kitchen and living room on the 1st floor and 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the second.

There is plenty of storage in the flat (every bedroom has a built-in wardrobe), extra build-in wardrobe in the corridor, storage space under the stairs, outside shed next to the flat entrance and some extra storage for bikes and other big items in the courtyard of the house. House consists of 4 maisonettes, other 3 are occupied by families and it is a very quiet house, no parties, and where neighbors respect each other. There is a communal garden shared between 4 flats.

Living room: dining area with wooden table and 4 chairs, 2 sofas, glass coffee table, shelves.

Kitchen has fridge, washing machine with dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, all pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery etc. Everything you might need, you do not need to buy anything at all.

Area is very safe and quite, no council houses around. West Finchley tube is 10 minutes’ walk, Finchley central tube 15 minutes’ walk, bus stop is 2 minutes’ walk. There are 4 big supermarkets to any taste or budget within 5-15 minutes’ walk: Waitrose, Aldi, Tesco and Sainsbury's. There is a convenience store just around the corner. There is a park with free tennis courts 5 minutes’ walk, View cinema 12 minutes’ walk. Amenities of both Finchley central and North Finchley within walking distance with cafes, shops, restaurants. Several gyms nearby, swimming pool.

Northern line (which will run 24 hours from November 18) is very convenient to reach central London. 16 minutes to Camden, 18 minutes King Cross and Euston, 22 minutes Oxford Circus, 30 minutes bank. Trains run every 2-3 minutes.
