Cosy medium-sized double bedroom en suite (shower & toilet), plus communal lounge, kitchen and dining - in a new build 5 minute's walk from Finsbury Park tube and rail station.

Hello - my name's Peter and I've an en suite room in my flat to rent. You would be co-inhabiting with myself -a live in landlord, and my partner Sophie...and our little ginger cat called JB (being a cat lover is a must!). All bills are included - including very reliable fibre optic broadband. The double room on offer has a large amount of under-bed storage available and large built-in wardrobes. It is fully furnished with bespoke made to measure pine furniture (our family business); this includes a desk, office chair, bed and bedside cabinets - plus a TV with Freeview. The house is very well-insulated over winter, and airy in summer. The lounge has a huge sofa plus a Roku box with Netflix and NowTV. Sophie and I naturally like time to ourselves, but would love an easy-going addition to the flat to share the communal space with us. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The cat is always kept out of the spare room we have on offer, but a lodger must be a genuine cat lover, who is trustworthy and is perhaps even willing to feed him and spend time with him if we both happened to be away for the odd night (don't worry - we've reliable cat sitter friends who can always do this).

About us: I am a stand up comedian and the Exec of a non-profit that works to support school leavers on their choices, and Sophie is a freelance textile designer. This means we often inhabit the space on Monday to Sunday daytimes, but can just as often be out working in a studio or travelling the UK for work for whole days, sometimes overnight including weekends. JB is a lovely ginger cat adopted from Battersea, and he really makes the house feel like a home.
